Our 2021 Barrel Select Pinot Gris begins with aromas of fresh pear and orange blossom. Notes of baked apples, accompanied by candied lemon peels, greet the palate. Fermentation in the barrel gives this wine a round texture with balance and length, without compromising its bright and firm acidity. This barreling technique, originating in the Alsace, was used by the original Oregon wine pioneers. I love to pair this wine with roasted vegetables and poached fish.
