The Muirfield vineyard was the first block planted on our property in the early eighties. This type of self-rooted Pinot Noir clone is disappearing from the Willamette Valley, and is being rapidly replaced by root-stock plantings. We are fortunate to have a few acres of own-rooted vines that still produce this quality of wine. The Muirfield block produces the purest example of what our vineyard can do in any given year.
