Green Strawberries, White Nectarine, Pear Blossom
Planted in 1991, the 50-acre Hawks View Vineyard offers the ideal growing conditions for Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. The eastern-facing slope and Laurelwood soils, combined with dry farming and hand harvesting, allow for wines of great character and distinction.
"The aroma of the 2018 White Pinot Noir is heady with pear blossom and red delicious apple. As you sip this wine, it enters with a green strawberry note that blossoms into white raspberry as it lingers on the palate. Without any abrupt beginning, the bright granny smith apple-like acidity seems to come out of nowhere, yet it builds to a finish reprising the green strawberry and delicious red apple. This wine goes with any type of food and is sure to make friends easily." - Don Crank, Winemaker III
